Taxi Killer — Motion Graphics

Taxi Killer is a four-part true-crime documentary series streaming on Shahid, revisiting the crimes that shook Beirut in 2011 and the investigation that followed.

As a Motion Graphics Artist on the series, my work focused on developing visual elements that supported the documentary's narrative and helped translate information, evidence, locations, and events into clear and engaging on-screen graphics.

Working within the dark and investigative visual language of the series, the challenge was to create graphics that felt cinematic without distracting from the reality of the story. Motion, typography, compositing, maps, archival material, and graphic treatments were used to reinforce key moments and guide the viewer through the investigation.

Together with Creative Director Mo Al-Ghossein and the animation and graphics team, we developed a visual language that worked alongside the edit  adding context, tension and clarity while maintaining the grounded tone of the documentary.

The result was a graphic system designed to feel integrated into the storytelling rather than simply placed on top of it.
